TECHNOLOGYShadow Moire with Non-zero Talbot Distance
Overview
Dr. Han of the University of Maryland College Park has developed a technique called Shadow Moiré using Nonzero-order Talbot Distance (SM-NT) in order to cope with the limitations of the conventional shadow moire. With the method, the basic sensitivity of shadow moiré has been increased beyond the previously conceived theoretical limit. The method offers a large dynamic range, which allows even measurement for non-coplanar surface, e.g., simultaneous measurement of chip and the substrate in a flip-chip package.Contact Info
